Velvet Crane was founded in 2018 with the purpose of creating beauty products that are authentic, natural, transparent and effective to use. We want to consciously create formulations that can make you SEE and FEEL self-love.  

Our philanthropic mission is to promote: self-love, honest beauty, and community. In an effort to share love on a much bigger scale, we have decided to go straight to the source. And that is start with you. Our products are created with natural ingredients. We do not formulate with mineral oil, sulfates, petroleum, parabens, phthalates, siloxane, formaldehyde, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, and are cruelty-free.

Our CEO and Founder is a mad scientist!

Velvet Crane was founded by Dr. Antoinette Nguyen, PhD. She is an adventure seeker, yoga lover and enthusiastic researcher. During her research studies, Antoinette learned about infection and inflammation during pregnancy as a cause of cerebral palsy. An extension of this study allowed her to delve into investigating how natural health products can be used to protect the fetal brain. She later worked with a research team to study the mechanisms behind skin wound healing and scarring. Taking this wealth of knowledge and combining it with her own skin struggles experience, she saw an opportunity to create beauty products utilizing Mother Nature’s ingredients.

We will begin shifting our efforts towards eco-friendly packaging and sustainable ingredients. Our philosophy of developing natural, eco-friendly beauty products also extends to our product packaging.
